Sorry about that, school has been busy. I've had to focus on getting better grades lately, and now that I have improved and have some time off for the holidays, we can get back to simming.

So, over the next few weeks, I will be releasing other episodes (including those recently taken down, due to lacking acknowledgment of the music used). Sorry once again for such an inconvenience.

Mini Update

Hey everyone,

Just a little update to say what is going on with the show right now...

Well, Episode 8 Pets, was realeased today. It has a fair bit of info (or so I believe) about the 4th Expansion pack, Pets.

I am still trying to upload some other episodes, and might be recording another episode in the very close future (watch this space!)

I do need to catch up on the show notes on this blog, which I shall try to do shortly.

Anyway, thats all for now.

Spam and Email

Some of you may have noticed that all the emails on this site have been replaced, to now read simsdownunder(at)gmail(dot)com. This is because I have been recieving spam email from all those nasty people who make the world a scary place. As interested as I am in entering the Web Lottery, I have had to stop this happening. Just type the adress as you would a normal one, obviously replacing with @ and with a .

Headset Broken! Plus MORE!

Not feeling Very Good right now.

First of all, I went out to the shops today and bought my copy of The Sims 2 Free Time

Felt Very Happy to of finally got it, but when i turned on my computer and walked away, I tripped over my Headset and it broke.

So sad, because now I will need to buy my 3rd Headset since starting this podcast.

Game Crash?

Hey all, look at this:

I was in CAS making a family, and my display drivers crashed.

Look at what my game looked like when I came back to it:

No cheats, that is what my screen really looks like right now. That is not how I want my sims!

And she continued to look like that...

For each of the Expansion episodes there will be a download on the website (link will be up tommorrow)

You will need to listen to the episode to get the code for the download. Then when you go to the site, enter the code and you will get the download.

Hey listeners,

Episode 5 was great! We had a whole load of live listeners and callers (around 10).

Thanks for joining in! Sorry about the microphone issues again, I think I have finally fixed them. The people who have downloaded the un-edited file should delete it and re download the new one. I will upload later on today.

Hopefully we shall not have any more microphone troubles (thanks Rob!). Will keep you posted. Also vote on the Competition poll right here at the top of the blog. We need to have a winner!

Unfortunately, I think my microphone has broken, and will probably be trying to buy a new headset for recording the show soon. Hopefully I will have this ready for a Sims 3 update and discussion and University Episode 5 this Wednesday.

Also, I am still having trouble getting the live recording to have good quality. I think this is because of my relatively slow internet (Thanks alot Telstra!) which makes the recording quality very bad. I will try to fix this!

Episode 2 - Where do I start?

I dont know what happened but the live version stuffed up so I had to re-record it. Quality was terrible. In the intro "Talkshoe - recorded live" you can hear the quality of the show. So I replaced the rest.

Anyway, in todays episode, some basic questions were covered. I was aiming to give a little bit of information to new players as to what kind of computer they should use as well. Also, a short warning on getting custom content was played.

At the begginning, I mentioned a few other podcasts on The Sims 2 that inspired me to create this one.

I also breifly spoke about some graphics cards that are incompadible with The Sims 2.

(graphics will be largely reduced and gameplay will be low quality)
